Vom 17.–20. Oktober findet in Amsterdam die „European Open Source Convention“, organisiert vom O’Reilly-Verlag statt:
The 2005 O’Reilly European Open Source Convention brings together diverse projects and communities from across the continent and around the world to address the changes and challenges unique to the European computing community. Convention participants will explore the remarkable range of open source technology and business innovations, from AJAX, Ruby on Rails, and Plone to open source stacks and IT best practices for open source adoption, integration, and deployment.
Ich fahr hin und berichte hier live darüber. Ich hoffe, dass noch ein paar Interviewtermine klappen werden, die ich dann auch hier veröffentliche.
Übrigens, falls sich noch jemals jemand über die Eintrittspreise beim LinuxTag beschwert: Ein reguläres Ticket für die EuroOSCON kostet „nur“ das 38-fache des teuersten LinuxTag-Ticket. Und das für weniger Programm und nur zwei oder drei „grosse“ Namen mehr. Ich hab Glück, dass meine Akkreditierung als Blogger angenommen wurde. :)
