Die Düsseldorfer Fellows der Free Software Foundation Europe präsentieren am Montag 07.05.2007 um 19:30 Uhr im Saal der Gaststätte „Philipp“ „Shane Mc Coughlan – Coordinator of the Freedom Task Force (FTF) mit einem Vortrag zum Thema „An overview of Free Software licensing and the Freedom Task Force“.
Free Software licensing appears to be a formidable subject, encompassing as is does the specialised fields of both technology and law; an initial glance would suggest that two forms of expertise are required to understand it. However, Free Software licensing is less formidable than it appears. In this talk the audience will be introduced to Free Software licensing and the emerging Free Software support networks, and will learn why Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) established the Freedom Task Force. The audience will learn what services the FTF offers, and how it supports individuals, projects and businesses in Europe.
