Since we, and hopefully also you, enjoyed it so much the last two years, there will be another „Das ist Netzpolitik“ conference this year. netzpolitik.org is the leading news platform for digital rights in Germany.

The conference will be happening on the 7th of October as usual in the Kesselhaus of the Kulturbrauerei in Berlin. As in the last years, we are expecting around 300 to 400 attendees. And, also this year there is a Call for Papers. We are looking forward to your contributions! Little by little we will keep you updated on the programme of events. Short speeches will give an extensive overview about current and future debates concerning digital rights, accompanied by workshops and some discussions.

Tickets will be available for 50, 20, and 15 Euros, depending on the category. If you want to support us, we are offering supporter tickets for 250 and 500 Euros. Sales have begun today, but you can pay anonymously with cash at the box-office just as well.

Here and on flickr, you can see, how it looked during the last years.

During the evening we will celebrate our twelfth birthday with an evening event at a different place. Our birthday is in fact at the beginning of August but according to experience many are on holidays at that point of time. So, traditionally we celebrate in autumn.

This year’s „Das ist Netzpolitk“ conference is kindly supported by the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, the Chaos Computer Club and Wikimedia Germany.

We are looking forward to seeing you!
