Während Der Postillon heute meldet , dass die NSA Milliarden Menschen beim Duschen und Baden beobachtet, zeigen Enthüllungen von Edward Snowden via Guardian, New York Times und propublica, dass der Geheimdienst ebenso wie CIA und GCHQ Online-Spiele wie World of Warcraft und Second Life ins Visier genommen hat.

Ersteres ist nach derzeitigem Kenntnisstand noch Satire, letzteres hätte man vor ein paar Monaten noch dafür halten können.

Real-life agents have been deployed into virtual realms, from those Orc hordes in World of Warcraft to the human avatars of Second Life. There were attempts, too, to recruit potential informants from the games’ tech-friendly users.
