Zwei Jahre nach Rop Gonggrijp und Frank Riegers leicht demotivierenden “We lost the war” – Vortrag auf dem Chaos Computer Club Congress stellt jetzt Rop in seinem Blog fest: Today, we are all Germans.
So the people of Germany seem to be successfully defending themselves against their government. What’s wrong with the rest of the world? There have been plenty efforts in many other countries to defend the notion of privacy, but the Germans have simply been provided with better and sharper tools for defending themselves. Their sharpest tool by far is this federal constitutional court. Without it, I fear Germany would have long been in the same sorry state as my own country. I hope all Germans realize that the judges and support staff that make up this court are the one single thing that stands between today’s Germany and a police state.

Ich will kein Deutscher sein, und ein solches naives Vertrauen in das BVG ist wirklich unangemessen. Das BVG hat Online-Durchsuchungen legalisiert. Die Bürgerrechte sind in Deutschland in den letzten Jahren massiv abgebaut worden, wie zuletzt die Analyse von Privacy International gezeigt hat. Und daran kann auch das BVG nichts ändern.
Bleibt wachsam und feiert keine Siege, wenn ihr auf wegbrechenden Eisschollen auf den Äquator zutreibt.
Und nochmal: Ich will kein Deutscher sein, ich bin Weltbürger. Eueren “Verfassungspatriotismus” könnt ihr Euch sonstwo hinpacken.
Kleine Korrektur: Rop heißt mit Nachnamen Gonggrijp, nicht Gongri.
@2: BVerfG, bitte. BVG, das sind die, die streiken.
Schon komisch. Da bleiben aber noch viele Fragen offen.
Na ich weiß nicht. BVerfG macht schon einen ganz ansehnlichen Job, aber
1.) bin ich auch nicht gerne deutsch und
2.) hab ich nicht das Gefühl, man könne sich auf die Schultern klopfen.
Die rechtstaatlichen Bemühungen für unsere “Sicherheit” sind damit lange nicht beendet und wir haben uns schon viel zu viele “legale” Maßnahmen verordnen lassen.
