EU: Keine Botengänge für Microsoft

Microsoft wollte die EU-Kommission wohl als Vermittler nutzen, um den Wettbewerber Adobe über Änderungen in Windows Vista zu informieren. Die EU-Kommission teilte aber mit, dass dies nicht ihre Aufgabe sei: EU macht nicht den Boten für Microsoft.

Wie die Kommission dem Konzern am Montag mitteilte, soll er selbst die Änderungen, die auf Anraten der EU und Südkoreas an Vista vorgenommen wurden, Adobe erklären. Microsoft hatte offenbar bei der Darlegung vor dem Gremium darum gebeten, dass die EU dies übernimmt. EU-Sprecher Jonathan Todd stellte aber klar, dass „Microsoft und Adobe direkt miteinander reden müssen“.

If a bad product such as XP has so many loopholes that it needs rows of other equally complicated products such as Symantec Panda McAfee etc, and needing rows of hotfixes, updates, patches etc. etc. – why has it even been allowed into the market and causing to miillions of user all kinds of problems including contanimation and destructions of hardware, repairs, losses of time etcWhere is the global quality control?

    Time for EU and the Competition to act in favor of the millions of users abused by MS.
