The answer is it depends. There are different types of Creative Commons licences. Hopefully your source has a Creative Commons Attribute 2.5 licence. Then you are free to share or remix the original work. Unfortunately there is proliferation of Creative Commons licences which . Thus Creative Commons licence is getting as complex as original copyright rules and makes it somehow useless for typical users without a degree in international copyright. Yet an other web initiative taken over by the lawyers.
